Lake Michigan

(I'm also entering this layout in the PaperTrail Makers Challenge Blog challenge for April. It's anything that has to do with water/rain. I figured there isn't much you can get with more water than Lake Michigan... just oceans :) ... (4/22/11) )

Sorry I didn't post last week. I've been really busy leading up to Christmas.

Here is my post for this week. I know it isn't a Christmas project, but I did that a few weeks ago with my Christmas Cards. This is just a regular scrapbook page.

This page is also from my Chicago Trip. We went to swim at lake Michigan. The water was COLD! But it was a lot of fun. We all took a jumping photo and so that is what this page features. It's a little plain, as you can see. The only think I really did to decorate this page was I used some foam sheets that I got from the dollar store and I cut out flip flop shapes. I just used a Sharpie and drew on the straps and wrote the names. They aren't especially great. But it's cheap, and it's still cute, and it serves it's purpose. And then I used a marker to write in the middle, and I just added a few beach stickers that I found among my supplies. It was really quick and simple.
